Xilks is starting The Queen of the Damned (The Vampire Chronicles, #3)
I'm on chapter 5 of Lestat. I have no idea what page because digital book. Anyway, something that has really been bothering me about the author's writing style. She will describe some situation, then the next page, maybe two paragraphs apart, repeat the same information in near identical formation and phrasing to the point where Iv'e had to page back and make sure I'm not reading the same page again--I'm not.

This is tearing me up to read this, but I'm glad that someone spoke out about this, published something, made these voices immortal, and this tragedy undeniable.
