this might be one of my favourite reads

some of it is just big dinner parties, friends coming over, travelling to other countries, having luxurious hobbies, basically privileged white lives. the stories this book carries deserve more layers than what her plain and unsentimental words do.

it is going to sound controversial what i am going to say-ann patchett's unsentimentality is so dry and boring to talk about life and some of what she says in this book is so nosy, of histories of other's lives.

Five stars. But let me complete reading also. :)

I’m at 169 and I want to give away five stars!
Best writing I’ve read so far. Alexene really does it for me. <3 and the story just keeps getting better. So warm! So realistic!
