i could've finished this book literal months ago. i'm rationing it, bc i am OBSESSED.

This went in a completely different direction than I was expecting, but I am *intrigued.*

This male love interest is... yikes.

So far, this book is really good at meting out elements of this at-once both futuristic and medieval civilization. I can feel myself perking up and becoming more interested as every chapter passes. Also, Jess goes hard.

Unfortunately doesn't look like I'm gonna finish this one. :-(
