Actually enjoying this despite the YA tropes early on. It's becoming a lot more of an Alien story now. Also discovered today that this story links to Aliens: Fireteam Elite! That makes me happy.

Enjoying, overall, but not liking some of the decisions made regarding "Plagiarus praepotens". Before, it was set up as being *like* the Accelerant/Pathogen. Now it *is* the Accelerant/Pathogen? I don't like that. Plus, the fact that it did that thing to those things (no spoilers) just does not make sense to me. Inconsistent. Other than that element, though, really good. Looking forward to reading how it concludes.
