God, I hated being 12/13. I definitely remember this time of my life.

Ty is worried because Rupert the ghost saw Livvy and he doesn't want him to tell Emma and Julian.

Emma and Julian go to the Helle Ruelle, but it's a fancy club now, currently run by a warlock named Zebulon Spoon with a cat-head. They find the box with a fish slice (Will and Tessa's wedding present from Henry and Charlotte), but Spoon traded it to a phouka for a hat.

I REALLY like this book. It's probably one of my favourite Francesca Lia Block novels.

Emma and Julian find the candlesticks in the Lightwood family stuff. Manuel in Idris is talking with Alec through new fire messages. Zara doesn't like they're talking, but maybe doesn't know? Clary and Jace don't want to get married til things resolved with Cohort. Emma unsure about moving to London.

Julian asks Alec if he or Isabelle know anything about these Lightwood candlesticks that used to be in this church (on a leyline).

Ty and Ragnor visit Blackthorn Hall. Ragnor gives them 2 locations to check out for other artifacts. Ty apparently converses with ghosts and meets Rupert's ghost.

Julian and Emma go to the house on Curzon Street and find an enchanted music box.

Cristina read all of Thomas's journal and it was super boring. Nothing magical in it at all. Did Alastair move his journal to Cirenworth?

Rupert wants them to go to James's old house on Curzon Street, because another artifact there? Herondales still own the house.

Hypatia comes through with some more diary pages. Ghost is Rupert Blackthorn and Tatiana stole things from the families she hated to make her enchantment.

They find Thomas's journal at Cirenworth and figure out that Tatiana must have changed the enchantment to use different objects than Benedict did.

Julian has a chat with Kit who is worried that Julian won't want to be around him anymore due to his falling out with Ty. Of course, Julian doesn't feel that way.
