It took six chapters to finally get to the first victim after bypassing a lot of sex, a rape, and her hyper focus on hedonism. It seems repetitive for a reason.🤔 To show how little things mean to her.

Wow!😯 This really explains a LOT of my behavior and the decisions I’ve made that I never understood.🤯 I kept asking myself “why” for decades, and felt so defective my entire life.🫠 Especially, since I’ve worked so hard to appear normal only to be traumatized and rejected over and over again. It’s kind of upsetting, sad, and enlightening all at once.🥹

This book is illuminating and exactly what I needed in the beginning of my body acceptance journey. Such good info and insight into the underlying issues beyond body shame/disgust.
