Apologies if you've had loads of updates from me as have spent sometime sorting out bookshelves. Also in readiness for my new blog, I've changed my online presence to my middle name of Alicia... Hope that's not too confusing!!

started it this morning as I had forgotten to download Renita D'Silva's "A Sister's Promise". Really enjoying - hope it's going to be a good one!!

After a slow start - and putting it down twice - I now find myself enjoying this mysterious intriguing and different book. Yes you have to suspend belief, but it has traces of 221163 in a very different setting. Am glad I persisted....

I've really enjoyed it so far but I can't keep reading about a five year old boy.... I will have to wait a couple of years.... Sorry to Clare Mackintosh!!

Loving this book! Beautifully written and engaging story, with a hint of magic and mystery....

Beautifully written and somewhat melancholy but finding it difficult to stay with this one. It has so much promise but hasn't quite engaged me enough. Will put it down and come back to it soon.

An unexpected gem - about the tragedy of enforced adoption.

Fast paced and touching

Really struggling with this one. Beautifully written but I just can't grasp the strings of the storyline or gel with the characters. Have put it down and will come back to it. Such a shame as the blurb sounded fantastic.... On hold for now. Thanks to the author and netgalley for a free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Started tonight, this looks like a CPID!! Nicely written, great start.

Finding it a bit odd and rather disjointed. I'm hoping it will come together soon...

Cannot put this down. V compelling.

Interesting premise, but so far not living up to its blurb. Not really bothered by any of the characters - and can't imagine why some of them would choose their particular person. Have put it down for now... Read a couple of brilliant books in between so might wait a bit longer to finish.

Misplaced my kindle (!!!!!) found this on the bookshelf so thought I'd give it a go. 4* from my friend Mayfair mum so am hopeful
