Some thoughts: I bought the ebook $10 and Audible $7.  Listened and read some last night.  the way Clarke uses the month by number instead of the name.  But there were Journal titles with November and June.  This alters reality.  The year is given by specific events such as the year the Albertross came.  On earth, we don't have names for years except for the Chinese Zodiacs. 

I like high tech gadgets and museum tour.

My first Tarot book. She's reading from an artist's perspective.

News Room Confidential tone similar to Kitchen Confidential even with a bit of drug but no sex. A little bit of Eat Pray Love but toned down. There are no worm holes that he went through. A goodread over all and I took notes on Tolle, Chopra, and found other new Jewish Buddhists such as Joseph Goldstein.

I listened to the audio abridged version of this book.

Listening to this book makes me think of how Hemingway killed himself. There is a bit of small games hunting in the Washington area. The Doctor Ben Givens decides to kill himself with a shot gun after time of hunting. He gets into a car accident on the way to the hunt and still goes on hunting after head injuries that left him shooting with one good eye. That's Hemingway tough and cool! The language is fine.

Driving around and listening to 1Q84, wishing to find a portal, an expressway like the one Aomame found and slip into a parallel universe. I can't exactly listen to Janacek Sinfonietta but wanting to find that piece of music. (I only have one Janecek CD and it's not the Sinfonietta.) There is some passages about mathematics that I want to high light on the paper book if I have a copy.

I wanted to read this book because the main character runs away from home to a private Library to read!
