Haven't been doing much of anything lately apart from Netflix, Prime Video and gaming. Lately = the past six months. I want to be able to read again. Sigh.

Good lord where does all the time go?! I haven't been doing much reading this year peeps! HALP! Lulz. I am finding myself with way too many responsibilities & priorities (which also means stress!) that reading has taken a back seat. #woeisme Going to try working on those titles languishing on my currently reading shelf.

My brain is not meshing well with this book - it sort of lost me around 50 pages ago...

But who knows how long a grief may last? Isn't it possible that, even thirty or forty years after the death of a child or a brother or a sister, one may half-waken thinking of that person with that same lost emptiness, that feeling of places which may never be filled ... perhaps not even in death?

Man he hated when Richie called him Eds... but he had sort of liked it too.... It was something... like a secret name. A secret identity. A way to be people that had nothing to do with parents' fears, hopes, constant demands. Richie couldn't do his beloved Voices for shit, but maybe he did know how important it was for creeps like them to sometimes be different people.

... sigh, worst place to have to stop a book and go back to work! (flipping between the present and the past - both story lines about to come to heads!) - I just want to finished this consarn it!

Okay, I am going to clean up my GR shelves and all the books I haven't added to my Want-To-Read shelf to really find out my total number of unread books I have (physical and digital hooo boy). This will be my on/off project for the next three months) and I have removed the "add a book to your shelves" tick on my feed update settings - still if anyone sees a load of book adding spam please tell me. Haha.
