My lord the insta-love. It is overdone.. and do I smell a love triangle?

The insertion of random French words is still bugging me.. but I am finding the story enjoyable.

I’m only 4% in, and I hate the slang.. and how they are trying (unsuccessfully in my opinion) to incorporate French words in to English sentences. I get that it’s a France inspired world, but it just pulls me right out of the story. It does not flow.

This is going by sooo fast.. I love this series so much.
Charlotte has been my favourite.

Okay.. is Jack starting to win me over..?

Honestly, at this point.. I want Laurie and Oliver to end up together. I haven't liked Jack at all, not even a little. Sarah deserves better.

Cole is the worst.

I already love Jordan and Pike.. and haaateeeee Cole. This is going to be fun.

This book is insanely weird..
The first 2 stories were decent.. between 3 & 3.5 stars.
The 3rd...? Can I give negative stars? I hated it.
I am part way in to the 4th and it’s in the decent range again.

The amount of times "I let out a breath" has been used is already a little ridiculous. I wish I started counting them.

I am sooooooo happy to be back in this wold. I loved the first book so much!
