Not extraordinarily exciting, nor is it completely boring. If anything I find myself continuing to read it because I might as well finish it, not because I can't wait to see what happens next.

Certainly not hooked yet, but things have picked up since they've switched to flashback.

No matter how many times you read it and no matter how fast you wind up hurtling towards the end, you never want it to be over.

HBP is surely the crown jewel of the Harry Potter series.

These books are as readable the tenth time as they are the first. I remember finishing this one in one day when it was released, and while I'm not moving quite as fast now, I still find myself making time to read it instead of doing more important things.

Things repeated re-readings of this book has made me ponder: Why was Draco made a prefect if he is such an insufferable git and total abuser-of-power? My guess is Dumbledore hoped it would have a positive affect on him. I really can't think of any other reason for it.
