this is really good. my expectations weren't terribly high, but it's a page -turner. well, figuratively anyway.

I enjoyed this book and its film adaptation. I was going that the film had been 'Hollywooded' up a bit, but found that it was true to the book. other than that minor disappointment it was really good.

i'm not impressed thus far. way too long and, frankly, disjointed. this is the first SK novel I've ever had to put down and come back to later. he's astoundingly better since he put down the dope and booze

been anticipating this one since it was announced over a year ago. downloaded it first thing this morning. it's a slow starter, but considering how long-winded king tends to be that's to be expected. so far so good.

the final book wasn't nearly as satisfactory as the first two, but the story was well done and all the loose ends were tied together nicely. overall I thought it was a good story and it's a shame we won't get to read anything else from Herr Laarsen

my illusions about the man have been completely eradicated. he was not a nice person and not someone to emulate even a little. that said, I understand why Macs are twice the price now. and I can honestly say that I won't be buying another PC or, for that matter, any more Android devices. if this book was intended as an advert for Apple, consider me a convert.
