Survival of the fittest, kindness has no evolutionary advantage nor does moral rectitude, it is money and the power it renders that makes the world go 'round. Hard to swallow but the more I see of human nature the more I wonder how I could have been so naive.

I am quitting this novel, it just doesn't ring true for me.
