I like the writing style but honestly I'm reading this half because of the cover

This is so so well written and I'm totally engaged, although the characters are such lowkey assholes. Also doesn't Adam end up with Ronan and Blue end up with Gansey? Why??? are Adam and Blue being a thing?????? Do not do a love triangle please???????

The beginning of this does not fuck around at all. Already two people have fucking died.

The thing is, I really like this book, but I'm way too squeamish for it.

Going to see how I like it! I loved Dare Me and I'm of course always a slut for suspense, so I'm expecting good things.

This is an important book just because of the knowledge it gives about this era, but it's nothing particularly special.

I kinda feel like Marie Lu doesn't give a fuck about writing anything mundane. Nothing happens that doesn't further the plot, and it's almost anticlimactic in some ways. But you know what? I don't care. This book is badass and completely awesome.
