What a book this was ! People obviously assume that this is a very political book based on the title ,which is true . It is also a call to throw off the mental shackles of victim hood and step into the future . It's very well researched ,sourcing a myriad of polls , and other sources , as well as pulling from the experiences of Candace , and her Grandfather who grew up in the Jim Crow South .

Stranger shows up, and irritates the portagnist ( and me) , while she stares at his muscular calves .

Me : " Ladies and Gentlemen this is the love interest " * eyeroll *

This is so well written , there's no doubt that Shapiro thoroughly researched this . Although I'm happy to be enlightened , I also can't turn my brain off when watching TV after reading this . 😅😂
