Nathan has moved on from the Rosenbergs to Bettie Page who was from Kingsport, TN.

It's 1953 and Nathan Heller has been hired by Dashiell Hammett (and friends) to help save the Rosenbergs. Looks like fun :)

Bobby is getting ready to give his victory speech after the California primary. Rosie Grier and Rafer Johnson are there at the hotel with him.

Jon is a big strong guy, but he's not fat.

Weird coincidence, but I just finished "The Third Bullet" about JFK's assassination last week, this one is about RFK's assassination. It was on the free book cart at the library and I picked it up because of the cover, it looked like an old hard boiled detective novel. I didn't know what it was about until I got home.

Slower going than the first two, maybe it was too soon and a little break between books would be better. Still enjoying it though.

This doesn't show up in my list as having been read but it's familiar enough in the first couple chapters that I think I at least started it before. There's some global warming preaching early on, that might be what turned me off the first time.
