I'm increasingly immersed in this story.

I've never read a Stephen King book before. This one just caught my eve. Now I am coming to understand why his work is so popular.

It's a long book (738 pages) but I'm determined to finish. As a veteran of this war I'm always interested to learn how others had such different experiences than I remember.

I just finished Retirement Can Be Murder (Every Wife Has A Story) (A Baby Boomer Mystery Book 1) and gave it 3 stars.

Set aside temporarily.

I just finished Our Souls at Night: A novel.

I just finished A Prayer for Owen Meany: A Novel.

I just finished Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird.Still working on further readings.

I just finished The Old Man in the Corner and gave it 4 stars.

I just finished A Fighting Chance. Elizabeth Warren is an inspiration to many people and I now join their number.

I just finished The Fat of The Land by R Allen Chappell and gave it 4 stars.

I just finished Boy Made of Dawn (A Navajo Nation Mystery Book 2) and gave it 4 stars.

While it's not Tony Hillerman, this book does show influences of Navajo thinking and ways that gives Navajo Autmn just enough to be satisfying. Charlie Yazzie is no Jim Chee and the wisdom of Joe Leaphorn is missing, but I'm content to read on.
