Starting this back up. Slightly annoyed... It seems like EVERY contemporary British novel has chapters dedicated to how one of the main characters doesn't want to have children and everyone around her questions that decision. It's a valid complaint but the theme is overdone in books at the moment.

Waiting to see if the mentions of Fortuna is foreshadowing. So far I'm enjoying the way the author has set the scene at the Cloisters.
