Couldn't get into the audio book. Might try again in print.

I did it! I finished a new to me book! Fracking five months! I realise now that I enjoyed it less as the story went on, as it became more about war, which is why it took me soooooo long. F yeah I finished it though!

I'm going to dnf this one, for me this isn't cozy, it's a romance. Reading someone else's review really helped me articulate it. Really starting to hone in on what I do and don't like in this area. Nothing wrong with the book, it's just not what I'm looking for.

I'm afraid this might have too much romance in the mix for me. I will persevere and see what happens

I've had this on hold for quite a while and was so excited when I got the notification it was available.

This is not a long book, and I adored the first book in the series. I think it being a meditative kinda narrative didn't help with me and my inability to focus at present.

Argh I've had to put this on hold again, just couldn't get out of the slump quickly enough to finish. I'm enjoying. Struggling a bit with the time jumping and change of narrators, but appreciate the author trusting the reader to sort it all out. I'll be back, hopefully soon!
