I've had this downloaded from Kindle Unlimited for probably over a year and am just now picking it up 😅 but it's surprisingly a lot of fun and I'm really enjoying it

Still going on about "the Birds", but now I'm not sure if we're talking about actual birds, or people 🤔

Part of me is afraid they're never going to fully explain the significance of "the birds", which will quite frankly piss me off because I'm already kind of tired of hearing about them 😂

When I first tried reading this, I found Genevieve insufferable. Having the same thoughts this time around. Going on and on about how rude everyone is being to her while seeming to forget she just floated on into their house despite being told to go away 🙄

Too early to really have any thoughts, but I will say that they talk about Tate leaving town like he's been gone for like a decade when its apparently only been 2 years?? Not saying 2 years isn't a long time, but they were really making it sound like he'd been gone SO much longer.

I just finished The King's Messenger, which took place during the reign of King James VI and Anna of Denmark, and it had me intrigued. So I got a least 2 more books taking place at the same time/place, but with witches because its spooky season 👻
