“Women’s Christmas”, Ian McDonald. Not sure what this one was really about. 5 sisters getting together once a year for a spa day. Living off the money their aunt made and sent back from the moon.

“Firstborn, Lastborn”, Melissa Scott. And interesting look at AI. Would they want revenge for a past crime?

“A Tower For The Coming World”, Maggie Clark. An interesting look at space bridge politics and its societal cost.

“Those Brighter Stars”, Mercurio D Rivera. A nice different look at first contact.

“The One Who Isn’t”, Ted Kosmatka. A different perspective in AI

“Because Change Was The Ocean and We Lived By Her Mercy”, Charlie Jane Anders. Difficult to read with the use of non-gender specific nouns. Even the names were difficult to decipher. Loved the world the author created, but lost its shine with the politically correct verbiage.
