this book is garbage. the writer is trash. she writes worse than a 3rd grader would. i am only finishing it out of spite and because im almost done.

Man why is lockhart spoiling wuthering heights for me. why dont u make ur point withour spoiling other books. nonsense

the starting of the book reads like a really bad script from a terrible netflix show where they do the cliche thing of having their protagonist narrate their whole life instead of the show actually showing it to you lol but other than that it is quite a page turner so far.

A writer writing about her not being able to write through a novel is meta af.

Feels like i am reading about an older female version of Holden Caulfield. The book flows so beautifully. The part about the fig tree and its decaying figs representing Esther’s hopes and dreams was so heartfelt and relatable. I am hooked.

i love John green’s writing. The goofy humour mixed with the laidback writing style is so good.

Almost halfway and finally something is happening in reality and not just through internal monologue and predicitions. i hope the rest of it isnt as dull as the opening half.
