I am on my way to finishing A Separate Peace, it is a very good book that I enjoy reading.

The book takes place in a boy's boarding school in New England during the early years of World War II. Gene is a young lonely boy who is introverted and intellectual, and Phineas being a very athletic, taunting daredevil. A war had began between them in the summer which ripped the innocence of the two boys wright out of them. And then, the search for A Seperate Peace has begun.

This story is about a little colored boy who really went into detail about his emotions and how he felt towards racism. I felt that the story was very interesting because I have never read something that a kid could talk so clearly and had such emotion when he explained what had happened to him. I would recommend this book to someone who knows little about segregation and because, this story will inform you alot.

This story was very informing and really showed me how it was to live back then. It also helped me to see how hard it was to be colored and live.

It was very suspenseful but also very interesting. At the end of every chapter it had me wanting to read the next one. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
