I so can't wait for the fall weather. The heat is not helping my slump at all.

Have been in a slump for like two weeks now. I'm giving up on any books that don't appeal to me (will pick them up again later) right away and moving on to stuff I know that will hook me. So, of course, I'm going for Sarah J. Maas! Who better to get me out of my slump??

Read 20 books in August, hopefully I can keep up the momentum in September!

Starting to get over my illness. Hopefully I can jump back on the reading train!! SMH - I am such a geek, so much fail.

Taking the night off and pigging out on junk food and watching some horror flicks!

Well, I think I have to give up on my read-a-thon this week. It's really throwing me into a funk. I think I would've read way more if I didn't feel pressured about it. Oh well, it was fun to try!

I hate when you order books and then you want them within the next hour. I know, my life is hard. I suffer!

Thank god, I think this book is going to pull me out of my book slump this week. I was out all day or this would have been more than finished. Can't wait to see the ending.

Ok, just got like 15 books out of the library. I officially have no self-control. I can't go into bookstores, I can't go to libraries, can't go to thrift stores. I really should just be locked up at this point. SMH.

In such a slump this week. I hate it. I better get it together this weekend and start putting a dent in my books. GRRR!

To read Throne of Glass, do I need to read the prequel first? I have been holding off till next month till I can get it. Is it worth it?

Haven't formed too much of an opinion yet. I'm liking it but it's really just starting to move now.

Grrr, changed my mind already. Going to do The Chronicles of Prydain instead.

I swore to myself this month I would read one or two books that I've had for awhile and wanted to read. So, I'm not letting myself read any of my new books till I knock this one out lol

I spent WAY too much on books this month, but I was so curious about the sequel to Court of Thrones and Rose that I broke down and bought it as well. Opps. #sorrynotsorry

Really was not liking this at the beginning. It's starting to get better though, I doubt it will be a five star read for me though.

This is getting pretty interesting. I'm very curious where this one will go.

Guess this will be another late night. I have to stay up and find out what happens in the end. HAVE TO, it's just not an option.
