This is getting more boring. She pretty much drank the kool-aid. :( *sighs* I know how this ends pretty much, and it makes me a bit sad.

"how could anything exist between them when she still rejected God?" You know it IS possible to be in a longterm relationship with someone of a different belief. It just takes you know LOVE, compassion, and you know co-existing and compromise. If its a deal breaker for you, don't date out of your faith, and don't manipulate someone you "love" to convert to YOUR faith. The arrogance of these people is unbelievable. :/

Guilt-trips and manipulation. I would have called these people out so fast on their tactics. Ugh. I can't. These people suck. Her mother just passed away, you manipulated her to go to church because it's what her mother would have wanted (on Sunday, not just the funeral) and she felt obligated, and now you are manipulating her through her 6 year old (she's having fun here/she loves it here), and other things as well.

She's a grown woman. Stop manipulating her to stay in her home town when she doesn't want to. -_- These people have some issues. Convert and conform. Small town folk =\= Good Christian Folk(tm). I have lived in many a small town with their share of *gasp* atheists and other views. Also some city folk are Christian as well.

Everyone is so patronizing when it comes to God. She just takes it too. Ugh. In that situation I tell more religious family members to back off (politely) and respect my thoughts/beliefs.

Re: all the writers who are friends/followers. I hate the fact that I have to state this. If I read one of your books, and did not like it, please do not take it personally. You are (probably) a fab person, but I separate friendship from books. If you want an honest critique, well, I'm your girl. :)
