Captivating. So many chapters flood my receptivity satellites in the most unresponsive crevices of my brain because the creativity and thoughtfulness of this book is more intricate and uncharted than anything I’ve read in a very long time. I love this book.

The intensity of my interest in this complex story has just changed from a steady crescendo to an exponential blooming following the first insight the reader gets into Dalinar’s visions. This is at the 300 page mark, a place where most books are approaching the final climax. This is a testament to the amount of intricate detailing and expansive history that will take place in this series. I’m all in!

It all makes so much sense. There’s always another secret. This isn’t a book. It’s a Rolodex filled with revelations that keep your jaw dropped.

The revelations keep dropping my jaw time after time in this book! I can’t put it down, but I can’t ignore my actual job. True heartbreak to pause each time. Sanderson has really put together a special trilogy here that does the difficult job of improving upon each new entry. The questions that build in the first two novels are all coming together in ways you would never guess.
