Hadn't realized how much I'd been missing reading about these big dummies. I'm glad this has mostly just been recap/reactions to what happened at the end of the previous book bc I definitely didn't remember it. Loved the opening chapter with Ian and also MY WIFE JENNY IS BACK I ALMOST FORGOT

so this is way more of a memoir than I expected and I'm just not feeling it. I don't care for this kind of writing

this guy is an idiot. I really like the heroine though. I already know she deserves better.

This is taking waaaaay too long for something interesting to actually happen. So far it's just been mostly planning, changing said plans, traveling, panicking about plans, changing said plans even more, and traveling again, repeat. It's trying to build up to something, but it doesn't feel like the pay-off will be worth it at this point.

lol uh oh this has gone into big yikes territory. also Holton's trying too damn hard to channel Gail Carriger and it's starting to hurt the story.

this is really slow to get through and idk if I like where it seems to be going, but I'm relieved that it looks like we're finally rid of the most annoying character in this series lol
