Hoping she somehow ends up with Kevin and not her amish "beau" from back home. They are SO much better matched and it would be intriguing to see one where life's not solved in a neat little bow by being amish and marrying a nice man.

I'm quite enjoying this one, I've got a few suspicions as to who's behind all the attacks on the farm, and I really hope one of them is wrong. I'll wait and see I guess!

It's an entertaining story so far, with a lot of research having been done, though it's sad when you know the tragic ending. There have been a handful of grammatical/spelling errors so far though, which is throwing me.

Shelly's Amish books have proved to be my favourites of all the ones I've read. She strikes a balance between them being your typical (often soppy) Amish novels and having it be something new and different to catch your attention. This one's no different so far, it's exciting and I'm really enjoying it.

Stepdad is involved in the poor girl's murder!! And bless her friend, thank God he was able to get her out of there before they look Nell's baby from her. I really hope she gets to keep the little one...

Wow this got interesting fast. They found a girl+baby's body in an unused room, and one of the governors of the place Nell was sent tried to hang himself? Something's rotten in the state of Denmark....(though I do question Nell's very..unconcerned/odd attitude towards sex. esp. for a young lady of that era)

I went looking this book up on amazon and discovered it's on there for free! I'm enjoying it so far!

And it's a boy! I kinda had a feeling it would be, now I just wish "Eddie" would hurry up and remember who he is. This is all going to lead to heartbreak down the road for poor Jonah though, I can feel it.
