Nearly 200 pages in and Catherine still isn't queen of anything. It started out super slow with unnecessary descriptions of the art of book illumination. I get it, you want to show that Owein and Christine had a good relationship that is obviously going to pay off later, but do you really have to describe to the reader how they used to paint books in the 15th century?
