Within the first 5 minutes of having my hands on this book, 3 different people practically jumped at me to talk about it. Feels very on brand for Murakami fans—or Berkeley (or both?)

I was away from this book for a solid month, and I am very joyed to be reunited. It’s the only thing that seems to have held my interest for very long (& AS A NONFICTION BOOK) i missed it dearly and am happy to be once again find myself hidden in its pages

To my dismay, it wasn’t until page 42 that I realized I had been reading “Christina” and not “Christiana” ((written that way at least twice on every. Single, page)

The prologue was brutal, I’m gonna be honest y’all i understood maybe 1% of it. BUT— chapter one is looking up

I would not want to be stuck on a deserted island with this book and no pen

Murakami’s takes are crisp and perfect for sunrise reading w/ a moody disposition
