Part 3: NIGHT & chapter 7. Like I said before, tad slower and denser than am used to but am slowly getting into this. Not sure about it as of yet, but we shall see...

This is a little denser than I expected.

Not going to rush this, but would like to finish this by first weekend in October. Maybe do Testaments before that date as well, but might be pushing my luck a little...

At last, they figure something out that I guessed about 30% back...

Am audiobooking this so am guessing. I should be done by the weekend!

According to my kindle, it sound take me an hour & 26 minutes till am finished.

Changed my mind. Again. I do want to read QUANTUM by Patricia Cornwell but this feels like an info-dumpy book and I don't have time for that. I

have a mini-deadline (I put this deadline up) as I want to read something before a certain date. But if I continue reading Quantum, I am going to fail. So, putting this on and will return to this. Might cheat and audiobook it if it's at library on release date!

Ok, gone into this blind & this isn’t a standard thriller. We have a ghost (?) in it so paranormal gothic thriller? Will report back once I’ve read more

Am only a prologue and half a chapter in, but I am IN! No idea what’s going on as I’ve gone in blind but I am ready.

(Surprising how some books click straight away while others - like Quantum - take time. Going to give Quantum till tomorrow evening then decide to put on hold or continue).

Changed my mind. Will keep reading QUANTUM on the side, but will start reading THE SHAPE OF NIGHT by Tess Gerristen as my “main” read.

I’ve decided to put QUANTUM by Patricia Cornwall on hold as not in right mindset. Plus, the low star rating on Amazon & Goodreads concern me & the 15 pages I’ve read feel very info-dumpy.

So, going to read something else. Am leaning towards Tess Gerristen. So will be either Vanish, Meshipo Club or Shape of Night. We shall see what I start tomorrow...

Well... that was an odd prologue...

I did a small post on Twitter to decide what crime-y read I should start &, no idea how, QUANTUM by Patricia Cornwell won over Kathy Reichs, Tess Gerristen & PJ Tracy.

Me and Patricia Cornwell’s SCARPETTA books never get on (remember, I DNF an audiobook edition of ALL THAT REMAINS), But I have hope on this.

Please let this be good, as this is Cornwell’s last chance...
