Will I finish you today? We shall see…

So much for this being a quick read as is a novella…

But am enjoying self so am taking my time. READ AT YOUR OWN PACE, PEOPLE (yes, I know. I don’t practice what I preach. One day I will. But not today, apparently)

There’s something lush about the writing that fits the audiobook narrator’s voice so soothingly.

The amount of names and timelines are a tad confusing but am keeping up, I think

Slowly, slowly…

This is the second book in a series, the first being”THE FAMILY MAN”. Didn’t know that when I bought and there’s nothing on/in the book to say this was part of a series.

Hence why am so confused over names and characters as SO MANY and I don’t know any back story which, I sense, would have been expecting/explored in book 1…
