Tried to audiobook VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED yesterday but wasn’t feeling it. Started this on drive to work and had an instant “ah, yes” moment.

Hope this weather isn’t on omen for the next UK Political Term…

Anyway, HELLO YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

Oh hell, the next short story I’m going to start is over an hour now. BRACE YOURSELVES

I needed a wee break from QUEER AS FOLKLORE as tad heavier than expecting. Oh well…

I don’t know who’s I’m struggling to read this as I am enjoying all the gayness but am finding lack of time to read/will power beginning to annoy me so I am wondering if I should put this on the back burner and come back in a week or so.

Starting a new job this week so reading has gone out of the window. Once a tad more settled, my reading and blogging should (in theory) get back to something more regular.

Anyway, how was your week, everyone? All good & ok?

Got a very early copy for review from publishers (still gonna keep my preorder of audiobook!) and am going to flit between this & QUEER AS FOLKLORE!

And I won’t be rushing!

Am waiting for a nasty twist to come… am 99% sure I know what the twist is gonna be, hence why not been that emotionally invested but am kinda hoping that it doesn’t happen…

Why am I getting M. Night Shyamalan’s THE VILLAGE vibes?

So am about 1 hour 40 minutes into audiobook (according to StoryGraph, about 15%), but according to my eProof, am about 20% in.

There are a lot of names to get your head round. But this is intriguing so far…

So, according to my audiobook, am 7% in.

However, according to my eProof, I’m 13% in. So… good figure
