Doesn't have faith in the ability of any elected prez to make things better:

Emotions create habits. Hence the 'celebrate' component after your tiny habit is an important piece, to cement the behavior into your thought processes.

Another example of saucy smile-inducing dialog:

"She took the photo [of her naked sister] out and stood looking at it, just inside the door. "She has a beautiful little body, hasn't she?"

"Uh-huh."

She leaned a little towards me. "You ought to see mine," she said gravely.

How can I not enjoy reading this with quotes like this from "The Big Sleep (Classic bestseller)" by Raymond Chandler -

"Over the entrance doors, which would have let in a troop of Indian elephants, there was a broad stained-glass panel showing a knight in dark armor rescuing a lady who was tied to a tree and didn't have any clothes on but some very long and convenient hair."

Some days strike me better than others. Today's about repeatedly finding kindness if you seek it is a good reminder!

I got bogged down with too many other things I wanted to read first and my checkout of this book expired. I put a new hold on it and expect to get it back ina couple months, so I can finish it then!
