I hate this book so much.

I would use the same word to describe my joy and the rain: torrential. This-this-this is all I ever wanted from the world: wide-open spaces and cooling rain and the chance to run. Was it really necessary to say this 3 times?

"You'd really choose hiding in there with God knows what inside instead of staying out here in a little rain?" What?

"Let us go outside," I say in a rush, my voice already pleading. "Let everyone see the planet. Let them know what's beyond the walls. These people-they've never had anything but a steel cage. If you open the door, if you let them see the world, they will love it, and they will do whatever it takes to make this mission work. They'll do whatever it takes to build themselves a new home."

Could Amy sound any less like a 17 year-old girl?
