You know in school... when they tell you to show and don’t tell when writing an essay/story? I’m getting a serious case of telling over here.

One minute I think I got it, then the next I’ve zoned out, then the next I’m confused. But I still want to keep reading...

The writing is just sooooooo..... cringey. The writing style is so... try hard? There's just a constant use of new slang and pop culture references when they aren't needed, it's really making me dislike this more than I wanted to. Also, I'm so glad the texting is finally showing up because if it hadn't.... I would've DNF'd this about 80 pages ago..... yikes
