It’s never a good sign when I start skipping pages. He’s a good writer, maybe to the point where his stories in the voices of uneducated characters aren’t convincingly theirs but his. And maybe I’m just too adhd for certain styles but I really want some of these diatribes to come to their point without the minutia.
