This is putting me in a reading slump. Imm not religious, so this is so boring. I really was just expect a thriller and here I am having conversations with Jesus and God lol.

Wtf is this religious propaganda loool I love going into books blind but maybe I should have read a bit more about this one. It’s well written and so short that I will get through it but…..

This is SO bad. I love retellings, but this has no story. This is just a weird version of Peter Pan where Wendy and Peter are 17 years old ish (still KIDS, but I guess less weird than if they were 10). The sexual energy is cringe and so unnecessary, but also without it, there would be no story?? Each scene is way too long. It’s just them longing for one another. I can’t help but to roll my eyes every few seconds.
