There you go. Finally a book I’m actually interested in.

I think I might be in a reading slump, or none of the books I start sounds interesting to me... I might cheat my system and actually pick a book I’m excited about... and come back to this one later on

I’m having mixed feelings about this book. Some essays I love, and others I don’t. Never in between. I might take a short break from it, might read the essays once in while.

This isn’t what I thought it would be. I’m only 30 pages in so things could change, however I find the title quite misleading as of now. These aren’t really essays about feminism, they are about the author’s personal life only. Obviously, I was expecting personal anecdotes that were relevant to the subjects, or personal stories that turned out to be moments of revelation, but they’re just personal stories..

So I want to try to read this sometime soon, but it won’t be now. Putting this aside for now.

I’m only a few pages in and already hate the writing... We’ll see how this goes

The book gets more boring as the pages go by..

I am really enjoying this. Lightweight just like most Janet Evanovich’s books.

The plot has so much potential, but it’s poorly executed. I hate (and I don’t use the word hate lightly) that the author focuses more on the romantic relationship than the actual plan.

Ugh. I’m not enjoying this. I mean it is alright, but I just don’t really care about the story. I do think that the plot line is interesting but weirdly executed.

Third book from my teapot. Completely forgot I even owned this.

Just finished the first book. Still not really into it. It is really easy to read though so I will moat likely continue on with this series. I know they are both from the same author, but it really reminded me of the Vampire Diaries... Especially the love triangle

Planning on finishing the first book tonight. Still not a big fan of the story.

This is poorly written. I’m not really enjoying it. I’ll read the first book and see if I want to continue on with the other two. I will most likely take a break after the first book.

So I’ve bought a teapot and I’ve written every single tbr book I own on a piece of paper, put them in there. The goal is to read some of my older books that I’m not excited about anymore. The first one I picked was a Game of Thrones, now this. Two books well over 500 pages... I’m starting to think this teapot hates me.

Wow, I am hooked. This is so good. I'm starting to remember the characters and who they are in the story, so it is a lot easier to follow.

I’m really not far along, but it’s really interesting. And complicated.

Why am I enjoying this? It’s taking me a long time to read. And it is very cringe. But entertaining? I think I’ve decided I will read the second book and see where it goes

Currently a third in. I did not remember it being so awkwardly sexual wow. It is sometimes painful to read. There are so many problematic dialogues. I will 100% finish this book, but still unsure if I'll continue on with the series.

I’ve read the first 3 books in middle school, and I’ve had almost the full collection since the beginning of high school. Let’s see if I still enjoy them as much. If not, I’m getting rid of them 😂

Don’t get me wrong, I like this book, but it isn’t groundbreaking. If you’ve ever read an article about a band or watched a documentary on 70s rock bands, there really isn’t anything new.
