When we make relationships with others, we are searching for "bomb-proof love" (170). Love like Jesus, who not only died on the cross and took our punishment, but also who lived for us and gave us God's blessing.

"Though Christian peace can be consistent, the world's peace is intermittent, because it is based on circumstances" (146). When we rely on the Holy Spirit to teach and challenge us, we grow in understanding on what Christ has done for us, which provides us peace through any circumstance.

Things are getting spicy! I'm so pumped to see how these events and characters continue to unravel.

When we find assurance in Christ Jesus, "we are not driven by unhappiness over our looks, or our status--we are not deflated by criticism as we were before. Our self-image rests in a love we can't lose" (118).
