I forgot how readable this book is. No clue why I didn’t finish the first go around

This book is one of the bios I have ever read. It does such a good job delineating Kafka’s life, influences, and their effect on Kafka as a whole

Finished “the metamorphosis” and am gonna take a break because I need to do something besides stare at the wall and embrace the void

God this is absolutely devastating

The Judgment is so sad especially knowing the relationship between Kafka and his own father

“Story of an Incident” is such a bonkers and really unsettling story that feels exactly what a dream feels like without the pretension that usually comes with a story that is usually described as such.

“Wedding Preparations in the Country” is interesting, but it’s really hard to get a hold on it given how fragmentary it is in its unfinished state.
