If I have to read the word 'neckline' one more time (up to the neck, dangerously low, sniffed at, disapproved of, an inch more an inch less, toyed with in a dream, laced, silk, cut) I'm going to scream. I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT EXTRA MILLIMETRE OF TIT IS OR IS NOT AVAILABLE I DO NOT NEED A PARAGRAPH ABOUT IT

I'm still laughing at the whole 'inverts are not afraid of bombs because their nerves are different from the hets'

I know we're supposed to hate Elaida but I'm willing to admit that if I got any form of power the first thing I'd build is the fanciest of palaces too. Like, she's awful, and it's the end of the world what is she even doing, but you have to admire her dedication to the #aesthetic

Mat doesn't know where Olver gets his roguish grin from. Elayne is being unhelpful. Rand is in a box. #RandlandLife

So--- the ancient past of Randland was something close to Earth right? That would explain the skyscrapers and cars and electricity they keep having visions of/the Forsaken refer to. As well as the mythology that sort of references our own myths, though that could be Jordan doing a Tolkien.

This book is a hardback and so big it is almost impossible to hold. This is why I have a kindle app. I don't care about 'oh but the *smell* of books' I care about being able to turn the pages without using multiple limbs.

Gawyn boasting about how the younglings killed their teachers and helped topple Siaun. yeah. Nice Job Breaking It you off-brand version of Rand. I hope Mat beats you round the head with a stick again.

Failed to find one with the correct page number. This is the closest and it's still about 50 pages off...

'we were all horrible and grumpy but then we saw babies and now everything is fine and we're happy thank god we're women and can't help but look after children' has Jordan never met a woman in his life.

Either Jordan doesn't know how to write relationships (or power struggles? if that's what this is about?) between women or he genuinely believes that catfights and snide comments are the only way women communicate. It's kind of exhausting to read. They're so horrible to each other for no good reason.
