Surpisingly humorless with an awkward narrative and no real plot. Throw in some racist and homophobic undertones and characters that are completely unlikeable and unrelatable and you have one of the worst books I have read in a while. Didn't laugh once while reading it but instead found myself embarrassed for the author. Watch the movie and don't waste your time with the book.
