I read these books as fast as I could. I thought book 2 was the best in the series.

Okay. Nothing super exciting about this book. Is a stand alone book. No need to read second book.

My guess - bone is the antlers the Darkling is looking for Shadow is 1. Alina's power she kept down. 2. The Fold 3. Apparat (priest) who always appeared out of the shadow.
