Fatma is lucky that the bad guy keeps showing up wherever she goes, otherwise she'd never catch him lol. 🥴 She's just NOT good at investigating. If the side characters didn't keep giving her direct clues on where to head next, idk if she'd ever finish this investigation 💀

I don't care at all about this romance. It's kinda hard to when the relationship was already established before the book even began. We never got to see these characters get close or falling in love. The romance is giving me nothing...

We saw, in chapter 1, a whole scene of random men dying. Now there's an investigation about that murder, but the investigator we're following also doesn't seem to care much, beyond it being her job. There's the vague threat of the supernatural, but that seems so common in this world that it isn't even intriguing. There's nothing to hold on to. I hope this gets good soon...
