Why is Kevin only just now remembering his country? Why pick such a lame name? Instead of jumping over massive stretches of time and then saying 'oh this character's totally different now' (Desio) why not focus on character development of a few less viewpoints?

I am not engaging with this book at all, I think I was meant to be moved by the last scene but I'm just mildly bored.

I feel like I've stumbled into a boy's locker room. When will the plot start?

This is painful so far. I'll hold judgement until I finish but I think I'll abandon it for now as other, more appealing books are calling from my kindle.

Um, most people didn't actually think the earth was flat. So fed up of this never-ending book.

These horribly smug lecturers definitely wouldn't move me to applause.

'Well ACTUALLY, most people wouldn't realise blah blah blah. I do though, aren't I, and by extension my creator Dan Brown, just so much more incredibly clever than YOU?'

'oh, I'm so worried about my friend that I'm going to act all superior and give you a history lecture instead of helping out' for someone who is so smug about telling his students to keep an open mind, Langdon is pretty quick to dismiss this portal.

Haha, overly wordy acknowledgement, rubbish made up quote and 'fact'. I forgot how funny these are.
