I wanted to like this but the author is clearly sexist. There are an unbelievable number of times that Shaniahs beauty is referred to as though it’s her only positive trait. As though a woman has nothing to offer but her beauty. And there are two instances where “women are so hard to understand” is stated like a stupid joke that is shared by men. This is why I mainly read female authors.
