Chapter seven and the beginning of eight. The post Doug Jones Clay and NOI. Ch 8: LSG must get Clay out of USA to calm the media storm.

Chapter 6 opens with the troubles building withing the inner circle of the nation of Islam. Then we see the build up to the heavy-weight championship fight with Doug Jones; this fight will prove to Malcolm X that Cassius Clay will become the voice of the Nation of Islam.

Chapter 5 was a tale about the end of boxing, or so it was thought. Paget died and Lavorante was dying; only Cassius Clay, by fighting Sonny Liston, can bring it back to life.

Chapter 1: Cassius Clay travels to Miami, where he meets his trainer, Angelo Dundee; meets the Muslim faith teachers that are presenting him with the spiritual life that will, ultimately, change him into Muhammad Ali.

Chapter 54: The second half of this chapter ended with the Israeli peace process at Camp David.

Chapter 53 reminded me about why I like to read: learning things that I'm interested in. Look up the presidential libraries architecture and history.

Chapters 51 & 52: the end of the impeachment trial and the winding down of the presidency in 1999.

Ch 50: The Impeachment proceedings heat up.

The end of chapter 49 was about the Israeli peace negotiations and the midterm election wins and losses.

Ch 49: The resolution to the Monica Lewinsky case and policy issue after this. Still on this chapter...

Ch 47: the day after the '97 election, the movement of White House and Cabinet staff, Whitewater and Kenneth Starr's wish-washing of going to Pepperdine University, Hillary wins a Grammy for 'It Takes a Village,' Chelsea graduates High School, Russia joins the G-8, golfing with Michael Jordan, Whitewater heats up, and Mother Teresa and Princess Diana pass away.

Ch 48: Monica Lewinsky and a visit to Africa.

The '96 election.

The battle over the budget; Rabin's death; peace in Bosnia and Ireland; finally, exonerated on the Whitewater scandal, this chapter was full. On to chapter 46.

The Bosnian civil war dominated; noteworthy, was the death of an American peace envoy. Also, peace agreements with Israel and Plaistine, and working with Russia on the Bosnian crisis.

President Clinton walks us through the bombing of the Edward Murrow building, the Serbian civil war, horseback riding in Montana, Russian concessions, and the budget battle.

Chapter 42 was like reading an explanation of all the people, who helped and hindered, policy decisions after the mid-term elections; during the first term of President Clinton.

The mid-term election fight and what the democrats accomplished for America wasn't enough for them to win the elections. Onto chapter 42.

The Whitewater scandal opens this chapter, then some general business on healthcare and the G7 summit. The most vivid story was about the Haitian problem and how close we came to using military force. On to chapter 40.

President Clinton walks us through the Whitewater council process, Ireland peace and political negotiations, Russian relationship progress, and back through the British and Ireland political process. Onto chapter 38.

The death and funeral of President Clinton's mother; then the NATO agreements in Russia.

Wrapping up the trials of 'life' in the White House, spending the holidays at camp David, Christmas in Washington, the beginning of the Whitewater scandal, and recounting mother's last days.
