Adam is starting Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1)
I love the world, and the characters. I love everything about the book

These characters are great. It’s been a while since I read the previous books but it’s so easy to get sucked back in

Adam
Adam is starting Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)
I couldn’t stop reading last night. I think it’s funny that they get the sayings wrong.

Chapter 11 had an interesting idea in it. When someone resists gleaning, their family gets gleaned. Scythe Faraday grants such a man’s family immunity. Why?

This is getting interesting. The apprentices are responding to their training in interesting ways. I think they are going to fall for each other

I love reading the Sprite’s in this book. So inspiring and it reminds me that the saints weren’t perfect, but they sure had a lot to deal with.

This just keeps getting deeper and deeper. I can not imagine what it would be like to have to choose who gets gleaned. I’m super curious about the elegy of scythes.

Very interesting concept. In a world where death means almost nothing (anyone can be revived) the only permanent ones are those performed by the scythes. It leads to many questions of the morality of death.
