Pretty sure I'm going to leave the library depressed & feeling like I'm too small of a person to change the world.

The jacket describes a narrative similar to the movie 'Where Dreams May Come', from the late '90s. Not super-into the illustration style, but I'm hoping the story will help me overcome.

I can't finish this right now. It makes me angry. I took it back to the library.

Another common misconception unveiled! Trucks are NOT the preferred method of transportation in a zombie infestation. They are loud, bulky & inefficient with fuel. That's a game changer, folks!

Left my Breakfast at Tiffany's at home, so I'm starting this today. Sounds like our protagonist here is the antithesis of Tiffany's Holly. Just what the doctor ordered.

I think, intended to be whimsy, Holly comes off as selfish & immature. I'm not sold on her as a person. That being said, the development of the characters in such a short time -- 27 pages -- is a remarkable fête by Capote. It feels like sitting down with an old friend Robeson about this thing that happened once.

Starting in on this graphic novel edition of the book. Received the novel for Christmas and am half way through, but left it at home. Having a graphic novel gorge fest at the library this afternoon, so I figured why not.
